BEN GERVAIS
Ben Gervais is a freelance technical producer, specializing in bringing new technologies to current motion picture processes. A pioneer in high frame rate and 3D workflows, he developed 120 fps production, post, distribution, and projection technology for Ang Lee’s “Gemini Man” and “Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk”. Some of his other credits include “Hugo”, “Pacific Rim”, “Crimson Peak”, “X-Men: Days of Future Past” and many others, Most recently, he collaborated with the artist Cyprien Gaillard, producing an immersive documentary film entitled “Retinal Rivalry” for gallery exhibition. Ben is an associate member of the ASC, a member of SMPTE, and sits on the steering committee for the Cinema Foundation’s Center for Innovation & Technology.
