Born in 1966, graduated in Chemistry from Kolkata University, received diploma in Cinematography from FTIl in 1993. Since then started working as a Cinematographer, worked with eminent directors like Mrinal Sen, Aparna Sen,Rituparna Ghosh, Shaad Ali,
Shoojit Sarkar, Sujay Ghosh, Anirudha RoyChowdhury,Madhuja Mukherjee.
Received 4 National Awards, 2 Film Fair awards for bestcinematography
