Simone Appleby has over 20 years of experience in post production, working in various formats from 35mm to 65mm film and digital. Her interest for the image began with photography in which she earned a first class degree in Edinburgh. She is currently Head of Lab at the CNC in France where she oversees film & digital restoration. Passionate about film and its history, she is about to begin a restoration program reviving over 40 different colour processes held within the archive.
